Product Description
PE500 is often used for applications that need better wear resistance than HDPE but do not require the higher cost of UHMWPE.
The core difference between PE300, PE500, and PE1000 lies in their molecular weight. The higher the molecular weight, the stronger the wear resistance and impact resistance, but the stiffness and hardness decrease somewhat, and the price rises accordingly.
PE300/HDPE: water tanks, storage tanks, anti-corrosion liners, tote boxes, packaging components, and low-wear structural parts.
PE500: Food-grade cutting boards, conveyor guides, sliders, medium-wear liners, CNC-machined parts, cost-effective upgrade from HDPE.
PE1000: Mining/port heavy-duty liners, hoppers & chutes, chain guides, cold storage, and any application explicitly requiring UHMWPE.
