PE500 & PE1000
The core difference between PE300, PE500, and PE1000 lies in their molecular weight. The higher the molecular weight, the stronger the wear resistance and impact resistance, but the stiffness and hardness decrease somewhat, and the price rises accordingly.
Product Description
PE1000 is ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), with a molecular weight in the millions. Its wear resistance and impact resistance far exceed PE300 and PE500, making it the first choice for chute liners, guide rails, star wheels, and other high-wear, high-impact applications.
PE500 is is often used in applications such as industrial cutting boards and bump protection boards, where some wear resistance is needed.
Packaging
